竹 = 𠂉 + 丨 + 亅 : Julian Giant Squid (zhu) is weaving a bamboo basket (竹) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2). He is using a key (𠂉), a dinosaur bone (丨) and a crowbar (亅) as basis structure and connects the three stays by weaving soft bamboo (竹) around them.

翟 = 羽 + 隹 : In the airplane's kitchen (ai2) James II of England (zh) gives a present to Herbert Allen Giles (翟) for his contributions to the Wade-Giles system, a long-tail pheasant. As Herbert receives the bird he finds that it is just a sparrow (隹) with long feathers (羽) attached.

翟 = 羽 + 隹 : Dorothy Gale (di) helps the sparrow (隹) to put on a costume in the space station's entrance (Ø2). She attaches very long feathers (羽) to the sparrows tail so that he looks like a long-tail pheasant (翟).
