湖

湖 = 氵 + 胡 : Helga Horse (hu) is doing an experiment just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2). She lets the water out of a water bottle (氵) and it forms something like a ball very soon. Helga Horse then uses her Confucius beard (胡) to create a loop and let the water, through the surface tension, expand by stretching the loop. She wants to find out how far she can stretch to get a little lake (湖).

氵 = ⺀ + ㇀ : Mnemonic symbol: a bottle of water. Sheldon Shrimp (shu) enjoys a bottle of water (氵) in the Eiffel Tower's living room (ei3). The got the water by scratching (㇀) a blossom (⺀) and catching the leaking dew in a bottle.

胡 = 古 + 月 : Helga Horse (hu) visits the old and wise moon (月) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2). She wants to join his cloister (古), but the moon rejects and says that first she has to get a very long Confucius style mustache (胡) such as his own.
