zzzZZZzzzzzzZZZzzz

Until now, I always thought the guy with the tall hat and the beard is George Washington. Well, good for me that I learned something new (besides Chinese) today by drawing like a four-year-old. George resembles that "zh-" sound of Chinese, which sounds like the beginning of "jungle".

The petal leaves resemble the small dot above the Z, which in turn is resembled by George's sleepy sounds.

You may have noticed that in this mnemonic, there is no reference to the meaning "him / her / it". It is because this meaning is so abstract that you cannot draw an object for it. But if you want to remember how to write "zhi1", then remember George Washington in front of the space station to recall that there's a petal leaf and a big Z.
